Mystique Volleyball Club offers a four-month program during the winter and spring. Each team will practice twice a week, with a combination of Sunday morning and Wednesday evening sessions. Practices will be held at Neumann University or The Haverford School.
Our goal is to schedule each team in 5 or 6 tournaments, with the potential for competing in the AAU Mid-Atlantic Region championships. Our focus is on teaching girls to be better volleyball players, so they may compete for their school teams. We will develop and enhance skills through a "practice-oriented" approach, as opposed to the traditional extensive schedule of other clubs. Practices are the primary tool for teaching, while tournaments will also provide opportunities for learning the value of teamwork and competition. We make every effort to provide equal playing time, depending on positions at tournaments. This allows players to learn the importance of teamwork and court/game awareness.
